SMAC art gallery
SMAC art gallery is a site built on the Joomla framework with extensive javascript and ajax front-end functionality. It essentially deals with artists, their works, collections and exhibitions and the many2many relationships that exists between them.
The main challenge was the uploading, resizing, compressing and displaying of the works of art. I modified an existing resize/compression Joomla component and allowed the client to choose whether an image can be displayed portrait or landscape.
